Research support
Gabriela Tejada Panduro holds a medical degree (Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, 2018) and a Master’s degree in Public Health (Pompeu Fabra University, 2023). She specialised in Preventive Medicine and Public Health (Vall d’Hebron University Hospital, 2025).
During her residency training, she completed internships at ISGlobal, the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), the Epidemiological Studies Centre on Sexually Transmitted Infections and AIDS of Catalonia - CEEISCat, and the CDC-Peru, where she gained experience in infectious diseases and epidemiology. During these internships and her residency, she was also involved in research projects in the fields of maternal and child health, tuberculosis and community health, vaccinology, and cancer epidemiology.
In September 2025, she joined the Cancer Epidemiology Research Program (PREC) at ICO as a Preventive Medicine and Public Health specialist, to contribute to the JANE-2 study, with the development of a systematic review protocol on the clinical utility of personalised prevention approaches for cancer. At PREC, she will also join the cervical cancer screening technical office to contribute to the implementation of the population-based cervical cancer screening program in Catalonia.
