Nadia Garcia Lozano
Nadia García holds a Technical degree in Pathological Anatomy (Miquel Martí i Pol Institute, 2003).
In September 2003 she joined the Cancer Epidemiology Research Programme (PREC) under Dr Salas’s supervision at the Genetic and Molecular Epidemiology team (GEM) in the Unit of Nutrition and Cancer (UNAC).
Her technical competences include molecular biology (DNA and RNA extraction, SNP genotyping, Western blot analysis) immunohistology (immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry analysis), cell culture and animal models. In addition, Nadia Garcia is specialized in the analysis and characterization of genes and polymorphisms associated with cancer.
She has co-authored 15 scientific articles and contributed to more than 20 presentations in scientific meetings.
