Paula Peremiquel Trillas

Paula Peremiquel-Trillas holds a medical degree (Autonomous University of Barcelona, 2014) and a Master degree in Public Health (Pompeu Fabra University, 2017). She is specialized in Preventive Medicine and Public Health (Vall d’Hebron University Hospital, 2019).

In May 2019 she joined the Cancer Epidemiology Research Program (PREC) at ICO as epidemiologist working on the Screenwide Project while doing her PhD. Since 2020 she is also subinvestigator in the randomized clinical trial evaluating the efficacy, immunogenicity and safety of 9v-HPV vaccine versus placebo in preventing persistent oral infection in adult men (NCT04199689). Since 2021 she coordinates the cervical cancer screening technical office and leads the implementation of the population-based cervical cancer screening protocol in Catalonia.
