Vanesa Camon is a laboratory technician specializing in pathology. She received her degree at the IES Guineueta in Barcelona, Spain.

She worked as a laboratory technician in pathology department at the Hospital Platon, Barcelona.

She currently works for the Epidemiology Department at the Catalan Institute of Oncology in the Infections and Cancer Laboratory. Her duties include microscope slide sectioning, staining and tissue embedding for national and international studies as well as collaborations with other groups of investigation within the institute. She also is involved in the determination of HPV DNA testing in the opportunistic screening of women in Catalonia, Spain, coordinated by the Epidemiology Department at the same institute.
